Butterfly Deco Label Box

Isn't this box cute?  My downline Donna showed it to us.  We used the Quatrefancy Specialty DSP and Deco Labels to create the box.  I love the butterfly too!  We created the butterfly with the same size square and circle (2" square, 2" circle).  We connected the point of they square to the circle and then accordion folded them.  We tied some ribbon in the middle to create the butterfly.

Here is a peak inside!  We wrapped little nuggets with the DSP and added a little butterfly to each one.
Thanks for the great project Donna!

Style Beautiful Card set with Scalloped Edge Box

I was inspired by Shelli Gardner's project from one of her Workshop of a Lifetime Make-n-Takes and modified it to create these 3x3 cards and made a cute scalloped box to put them in. I used the Style Beautiful stamp set for the cards.

For the cards, I started by embossing the large stamp image with clear embossing powder and then using a sponge dauber to softly circle some baja breeze around the image. I stamped another swirl image in certainly celery on certainly celery and then stamped "Life is Beautiful" in early expresso on top and punched it out with the scallop oval punch. I added some early expresso taffeta ribbon and placed it on the card with a dimensional.

I stamped the third swirl image in baja breeze on the envelope and added the sentiment on top in early expresso.

For the scalloped box I started with a 6-1/4" x 6-1/4" piece of crumb cake and scored it at 3/4", 1-1/2", 4-3/4", & 5-1/2" on one side and 3/4", 4", and 4-3/4" on the other side. I have created a video tutorial to show you exactly how to assemble the box. I added a strip of 1/2" x 4" strip of baja breeze stamped with the individual Solid Stripes stamp in baja breeze to the top of the box.

Here is a video tutorial that I created to show you exactly how to put the box together and create the cool emboss resist effect on the cards. I have to apologize that it is hard to see the image in the video.

Butterfly Box Tote

When my friend told me about this cute little box that she had heard of using the Sizzix Box #2 die to create, I knew I had to try it . It's super easy to make. I just ran two sheets of orchard opulence through my Big Shot with the Box #2 die, cut of the top side flaps and adhered them together back-to-back. I used the large oval punch to create the handle and some of the new Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper on the box. I added the butterfly from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and easily punched it out with the new butterfly punch. It tied a little piece of the rich razzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon to the top and it's ready to go!

Celebrating a New Look!!

Sale-a-bration may be over, but I'm still celebrating!   Do you like the new look of my blog? Thanks so much to Michelle Laycock at Laycock Designs for this fabulous new design!  To celebrate, I'm offering some blog candy!

Included is one of my favorite sale-a-bration sets, Yummy, a Pack of 6x6 Prints Designer Paper and a cute box of chocolates made with the new Thick Window Sheets that are now available in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I used the Sizzix Box #2 die to create this cute box.  The Thick Window Sheet went through the die with no problems and was easy to fold into the box shape!  I used the Summer Love Rub-Ons from the Occasions Mini Catalog and some striped pink grograin ribbon around the box!

To win the blog candy, please leave a comment telling me what your favorite Stampin' Up! product is and why.  I will randomly pick a winner on Monday morning, April 6th

Another Box

I just can't get enough of these boxes!  I made another one with the Parisian Breeze Textured Cardstock weight DSP.  Did you notice that on page 158 of the catalog all the DSP is textured cardstock?  And the Rockability DSP has printed glossy designs on each sheet!

For this box I used the Wide Oval punch to create a little window so you can see the treats inside!  I used the coordinating Friends 24-7 stamp set for the scallop circle tag.

I just got my Occasions Mini Catalog today and I'm so excited to share that Stampin' Up! is going to be selling Window Sheets again like the one I used to create the window in this box.  They will sell a medium weight and a thick weight.  I'm so excited to create see-through boxes with the thick weight and use the new color rub-ons on them!!

Cute Gift Box with Binder Clip

Here is the second project we made at our demonstrator meeting on Saturday. I always love the projects that Jessica does and this one is no exception! We made these cute boxes. The directions for the boxes are here.

We attached an explosion card to the top of the box. I used One of a Kind to decorate the top and inside. Not only did we make the box, but we also decorated a cute clip to go inside!
