Happy Birthday Gift

This is a card and gift that I made for my friend's birthday today! I used the Autumn Spice DSP and Perfect Punches stamp set. For the card, I made the scallop flower with two large scallop old olive pieces run through through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka dot embossing folder. I folded them and attached them together and added a large brad in the center.

For the cards inside the box, I used the Autumn Spice DSP with Perfect Punches.

Autumn Spice Friend Card

Here is simple card with the Autumn Spice DSP and Perfect Punches stamp set. I added a flower from the Boho Blossoms punch with a brad to the my friend curly label. The perfect punches is *the* perfect set for many different occasions and for making quick and easy cards in a snap because each stamp coordinates with a Stampin' Up! punch!

Got Texture?

Whether it's the Autumn Spice Specialty Textured DSP or running your cardstock through an embossing folder, texture adds a wonderful dimension to your project! Interest can also be created by coloring the stamp with different color markers. This first card is a copy of one from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I changed out the DSP for my own textured cardstock created with the Square Lattice embossing folder.

This card is more straightforward with texture. I was inspired by this card by Trishka. I added some strips of the Autumn Spice DSP to add texture as well as some ribbon, a smooth button, and linen thread. Tone on tone stamping in the background also adds texture.
