Simple but Fabulous Florets Cards

I made some simple cards that I can use for birthdays and thank you cards with the Fabulous Florets. For the first cards I started with White Shimmer paper and placed a drop of wild wasabi and pacific point ink from the reinkers randomly on the paper and them spritzed with water. After the ink dried, I used black embossing powder to emboss the flower image on top and cut out the flowers. I love the resulting variation in colors!

For the birthday card, I simply embossed the flower in melon mambo, cut it out and popped it up on a dimensional.

Birthday Card

I saw this fabulous birthday card in Stampin' Success and made some of my own. I embossed the top half of the card with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and then threaded some old olive ribbon through the mellon mambo lace ribbon. I stamped the dots from the Borderlines stamp set and added some Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the card. I used three old olive fancy flower punches and added a sentiment from Perfect Pairs and a circle from Circle Circus.

Party This Way Birthday Card

I'm really enjoying the new pennant builder punch and all the things you can create with it! I made a simple birthday card with the new Party this Way stamp set and the Just Add Cake dsp. I used Wild Wasabi and Poppy Parade and some of the white baker's twine. It would be fun to personalize the card by adding the recipient's name to the banner!

Pennant Parade Birthday Card

I love the new Pennant Parade stamp set! There are so many kinds of cards you can make with this set. The first card I'm showing you today is a birthday card! I used the cupcake builder punch for the ice cream and the new petite pennant builder punch for the cones. I added some of the new Scallop Dot ribbon across the bottom. So much fun!

Bring on the Cake Birthday Cards

Need a birthday card in a jiffy? I saw this project by Iliana and thought it was a great idea to make some quick 3x3 cards ahead of time and store them in a cute box created with the Scallop Envelope Sizzix die. I used a strip of the Celebrations Designer Series paper and added a sentiment from the Bring on the Cake stamp set. Quick, cute, easy and ready to go!

Build a Blossom Birthday Card

I love stamp sets that have coordinating punches like the Build a Blossom stamp set and the Blossoms Petal Punch. I can create beautiful dimensional flowers in just minutes. I saw this card by Connie and had to make one of my own! I used the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper and layered it on some old olive. I wrapped some very vanilla satin ribbon around and added a sentiment from the Bring on the Cake stamp set and layered it on the designer label punch.

Create a Cupcake Birthday Card

Isn't this a cute card? I saw this card by Mary and thought so too! I used the new Create a Cupcake stamp set and coordinating Build a Cupcake punch to make this colorful birthday card. I used a 6x6 card folded in half that fits perfectly in the Small Open End Envelope. I stamped the chocolate frosting and then punched it out and then stamped the cupcake holders in Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Tangerine Tango and punched them out. I stamped the bow after I punched the cupcake holders out. I used dimensionals to put them on the circles and then placed them each on their coordinating color! What a fun birthday card!

Happy Birthday Gift

This is a card and gift that I made for my friend's birthday today! I used the Autumn Spice DSP and Perfect Punches stamp set. For the card, I made the scallop flower with two large scallop old olive pieces run through through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka dot embossing folder. I folded them and attached them together and added a large brad in the center.

For the cards inside the box, I used the Autumn Spice DSP with Perfect Punches.
