Fancy Favors

These are some hostess gifts that I made for my hostesses this month filled with yummy chocolate using the Fancy Favor Sizzix die. I punched the curly label on one side and added a window sheet behind to hold the candy in. I added a sentiment from With all My Heart and tied it up with some real red grosgrain ribbon.

Oval Purse Card

I saw these cute little purse tags that Becky (Inking Idaho) made and decided to create one on a card. I folded some Sending Love DSP in half and placed it in the wide oval punch keeping the top fold from being punched. Then I added a handle using the scallop oval punch and large oval punch. I used the scrap piece of large oval punch for the flap and added a flower and a pink rhinestone brad. I added some new satin pretty in pink ribbon to finish the card.

Valentine's Bird Purse Tote

Isn't this little purse cute? I saw this idea on Becky Robert's site, Inking Idaho, and made a little box between the ovals to put some treats in.

I started by cutting out two ovals with the Scallop Oval Sizzix die. I trimmed the bottoms by lining up the edge at 2" on my trimmer. I also cut one chocolate chip oval and cut it in half for the handles.

I created a little box with 3" x 6-1/2" piece of chocolate chip cardstock scored 1" lengthwise and at 2", 3", 5" & 6". I added a scallop circle and a cute little Sending Love Bird to the front.

This is another fun way to send some love on Valentine's Day!

I Heart Mini Milk Cartons!

I love the new Mini Milk Cartons! I made this as a door prize for our demonstrator meeting last week. I made four mini milk cartons with pretty in pink cardstock and stamped hearts from the I Heart Hearts stamp set all over the cartons. Then I punched a 1" circle in each carton and placed a window sheet on the inside. I filled them with cherry cordial hershey kisses and placed them in a little carrier.

For the little carrier, I started with a 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of cardstock and scored at 1" from all edges. I folded the corners up and placed some Sending Love Specialty DSP on each side. For the middle I used a 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" piece of cardstock scored a 1/2" on opposite sides and then trimmed down to a 1/2" flap to adhere to the middle of the inside of the little box. I punched a handle with the wide oval punch and made a tag with the Lots of Tags sizzlit stamped with "Love you Much" from the Well Scripted stamp set.
