Owl Flip Flop Card

I saw this swap card and had to make one myself. I used the Woodgrain background and the Owl and Two-Step Bird punches. Here is the tutorial for a flip-flop card.

Here is the other side of the card.

Bird by a Fence

I made this card last year at a demonstrator meeting. Kathleen showed us how to make the cutest fence complete with weathering by using Stampin' Up!'s texture plates. We ran whisper white cardstock through the Big Shot with the weathered textured plate that had some going gray ink rubbed on it. Then we used the circle punch to give the tops of the fence a curve.

We added some leaves from the Little Leaves Sizzlit and some flowers from the Boho Blossoms and Trio Flowers Punch. I added the final touch of a bird to the top of the flower stem.

Valentine's Bird Purse Tote

Isn't this little purse cute? I saw this idea on Becky Robert's site, Inking Idaho, and made a little box between the ovals to put some treats in.

I started by cutting out two ovals with the Scallop Oval Sizzix die. I trimmed the bottoms by lining up the edge at 2" on my trimmer. I also cut one chocolate chip oval and cut it in half for the handles.

I created a little box with 3" x 6-1/2" piece of chocolate chip cardstock scored 1" lengthwise and at 2", 3", 5" & 6". I added a scallop circle and a cute little Sending Love Bird to the front.

This is another fun way to send some love on Valentine's Day!

New Punch Style!

I'm in love with the new punches! They are fantastic! They close and lock for easy storage. The two step bird punch is super cute! I created this card (inspired by Kristin's card here) with a rose red bird with sponged edges, a chocolate chip and old olive branch and some rich razzleberry flowers. I added a sentiment from Well Scripted to finish the card.

Here is a video I created to demonstrate some of the new punches:
