Give Thanks Card

I love using the top note die and an embossing folder to created beautiful quilted looking cards! I cut 1/2" strips from the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper and pasted them on a scrap piece of card stock and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Top Note die. Then I used the Square Lattice embossing folder to create the quilted look of the card. I used the Gently Falling and Hand Penned Holidays stamp sets to stamp the leaves and sentiment on the card.

Christmas Top Note Quilt Card

I love making these top note quilt cards. I used the Holly Jolly DSP with the Contempo Christmas stamp set (which is currently on sale for 20% off). I simply cut out 1" squares and pasted them on a scrap piece of cardstock and cut it out with the top note die and then embossed it with the poinsettia embossing folder. I stamped Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler and then punched it out with the designer label punch and trimmed off the top and bottom and added another piece of Cherry Cobbler underneath.
Don't miss out on the great Handmade Holiday sale! 20% off some great holiday product bundles!

Quilted Top Note

I loved making this card! I love all the seasons, but fall is my favorite. I love the colors, the food, the crisp air and the anticipation of the holidays! The original card was made by Ilina.

The Autumn Spice Specialty DSP is perfect for this Top Note Quilt card. It's textured cardstock that I cut into 3/4" and 1/2" strips and attached to a piece of scrap cardstock. I cut it out with the top note die and then ran it through the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.

I added the sentiment and punched it out with my favorite punch, the Designer Label Punch and layered it with two designer label punches with their middles cut out and adjusted to look like a layer behind. More fall cards to come!
