California Poppies Card
California poppies are some of my favorite flowers. I love their bright orange flowers and that they grow like weeds here in California. They are also the state flower of California! I planted some in my front lawn and I love seeing them bloom every year.
So when I saw the Peaceful Poppies suite, I knew I wanted to make a California poppies card with it. I also used my new favorite dies - Stitched so Sweetly! They are super cute and a must have. I've been using them on almost every card I make!

Field of Poppies Card
One of my dreams is to run through a field of poppies - but not fall asleep like Dorothy. So I wanted to make a field of poppies card that I can dream about. :) I started my adding some pool party for the background and then stamped and colored the poppies on top. I colored the white crinkled ribbon with the Dark Poppy Parade blender pen to add to the card. Do you like it?
Check out my FB Live to see how I made this card. (And meet my new kitty too!)

Painted Poppies Card
Create a flower-filled background using the Painted Poppies stamp set! Just stamp the outline in black and then color the flowers with the fill stamp. Add the swirly and a sentiment to finish the card!

Watercoloring Flowers!
Create a watercolor look with some Shimmery White card stock, flower stamps from the Floral Essence stamp set, Calypso Coral ink and some aqua painters! Start by stamping the flowers and leaves then use the aqua painter to go over the flowers to give them a watercolor effect. Credit to Artisan Team Member Ashley Van Camp for this beautiful card design!

Sponged Floral Essence Card
Here is a second way to stamp and color flowers using the Floral Essence stamp set. Use sponge daubers to "color" the flowers and lightly color the leaves with an aqua painter.
