How to Create Your Own Masks!

Want to create your own masks?  Just run a die like the Florentine Die with a window sheet through a die cutting machine to create your own mask that you can use for stenciling, heat embossing or with embossing paste!

I dyed the white embossing paste using a coastal cabana ink refill.  Mix it up and then you are ready to spread!  Tack the card stock down with some temporary adhesive and tape the mask down so that it doesn't move while you are spreading the paste.  Let the past fully dry - about 10-15 minutes - before finishing the card.

How to Create a Rainbow Birthday Card with an Embossing Paste Overlay

Create this fun rainbow birthday card with glossy card stock, ink refills, and embossing paste!

Start by using sponge daubers to rub ink across the glossy white card stock.  Use a mask and embossing paste over the glossy card stock and let dry overnight.  Add letters and embellishments to finish the card!
