Scalloped Card Box Tutorial

I created this Scalloped Card box for my stamp club this month. It is the same as the one that I made here for my friend Lisa.

I used the Baby Blossoms stamp set for the cards in baja breeze and pear pizzazz. I added a strip of Springtime Vintage Designer Paper layered with not quite navy and used the scallop trim border punch on one edge to the box. I made the flower with the Fun Flowers die from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I ran them through the perfect polka dot and vintage wallpaper embossing folders. I used the 5-petal punch to create the leaves.

Here is a video tutorial I made to show you exactly how:

Here is a list of the supplies that I used!  Place an order and you will receive a free surprise gift from me!

Simple Friendship Card Set

I made some gift card sets with the Simple Friendship stamp set. I love the clean monochromatic look of the cards. I love the new Crumb Cake ink to go with the former Kraft now Crumb Cake paper. This is a modification of a card from the catalog. It would look great with any color.

I made these cards 4" x 4" square. I started by stamping the circle on the Naturals Ivory paper and punching it out with the 1-3/4" punch and then stamping the flower and cutting it out and using dimensional in between each layer.

Today is the last day to order from the Summer Mini Catalog, so order your favorites before they are unavailable!

Monogrammed Gifts

Happy New Year!!! I have a feeling this is going to be a great year! And what better way to start a year than with a friend's birthday! This is a gift set I made for my friend Mona for her birthday. I used the beautiful flocked snowflake paper from the Christmas Cocoa dsp for the notepad holder and the card holder and cards. I even had some paper left over to create a pillow box.

Here is the inside of the notepad holder and card set. I hope she likes it!

For directions for the card holder, see this post.

Snowman Soup & Monogramed Card Set

I loved making these little packets of snowman soup for each of my stamp club members and downline as a thank you! I loved coloring in the cute snowman from the Snow Buddies Stamp set. I used the top note die for the tops and then the Calendar Alpha to stamp each name.

I also made some monogrammed card sets with the Christmas Cocoa specialty designer series paper for my sons' teachers and for some friends. I love the flocking on the paper. Making the card holder is a snap. Just start with an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of cardstock and score at 5-1/4" and 5-3/4" with the 11" side at the top. Then turn and score at 6" and 6-1/4". Trim on the score lines from the bottom up to the 6" line and trim away the excess piece. Use eyelets to secure the pockets and wrap some ribbon around the cardholder to finish.

Still more ideas to come!
