Chocolate Covered Strawberry Treat Holder

I love chocolate covered strawberries, don't you? Here is a fun treat holder make with the Petal Cone die. Here is the tutorial by Lisa that I made it from. I put some fun treats inside and gave it to my hostess for her workshop last week.

Petal Cone Bats

Yet another use for the versatile Petal Cone die: Halloween bats! Simply cut an extra piece from the die, cut it in half and run it through the Big Shot with the spider web embossing folder! I used a circle punch along the bottom of the wings, added some glitter brads for eyes and the tip of the petite pennant punch for fangs and some ribbon for a handle and this is all ready to be filled with treats and given to that special trick or treater!

Petal Cone Bat

Yet another use for the Petal Cone die - a bat that holds treats! I used the Spiderweb Embossing folder on the wings and the glitter brads for the eyes. The petite pennant punch came in handy for the teeth! The circle punch helped me shape the bottoms of the wings. The original idea came from Shelli, the founder of Stampin' Up!

Cupcake Cards!

These cupcake cards are so fun to make! Thank you to my friend Kathleen for introducing them to me! I used my favorite new die, the petal cone die to create them. I cut the bottoms off to create a 1-1/2" base and then added embossed frosting. I scalloped the edge of a 2" x 3" piece of Designer Series Paper and ran it through the crimper to create the bottom wrapper. I used the small heart and 4 petal flower punch to create the strawberry. Almost looks good enough to eat!

Easter Bunny Carrots

I saw these adorable little Easter Bunny carrots on Barb's blog and thought they would be perfect little gifts for my daughter's preschool! I sponged all the pieces for the bunny with pretty in pink and I used the sentiment from Easter Blossoms. My daughter is so excited to share them with her preschool friends!

Chocolate Take Out Box

This is a take out box made with the petal cone die! I saw this on Dawn's blog and decided to make one right away! I cut two petal cones dies and then lined up the score line with the 2" line and scored and then lined it up with the 3" line and cut. I trimmed away the bottom half of the tab and then cut along the score line up to the first score line that I made.

I tied some chocolate chip satin ribbon around the box and added the sentiment from the Eat Chocolate stamp set. What a fun little box to put some chocolate in and give to a friend!

Valentine Petal Cone

The Sizzix Petal Cone die is so fun! I used the En Francais background stamp on each side and then layered each scallop with some real red. I used the Notably Ornate stamp set for the banner and part of the swirl stamp for the flaps. I added some real red satin ribbon for a handle as well as some chocolate kisses!

Be My Valentine Hanging Heart Box

I loves boxes and I love hearts, so I couldn't resist making this Hanging Heart box when I saw it! I used the Petal Cone Sizzix die from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the lattice texture plate. I used a piece of 2" x 10" Cherry Cobbler cardstock and scored it a 1/2" on the long sides and in the middle at 5" to create the middle. I cut off the tabs on the petal cone die and adhered both heart shapes the middle section.

I added the Be My Valentine stamp to the front layered with the scallop circle die and the new 3" circle die also from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Add some goodies and this would make a great gift for any Valentine on your list!
