Chalk Talk for Someone Special

I'm in love with this color combination of Primrose Petals and Basic Gray!  I had fun using the new Chalk Talk set and coordinating framelits to create this card.  I stamped "something" in Primrose Petals,  cut it out and added dimensionals to it to make it stand out.  Sanding the Core'dinations paper after embossing the paper adds a nice worn look.

Polka Dot Pieces Bird Card

 One of my new favorite stamp sets is Polka Dot Pieces because all the images coordinate with a punch!  This card is inspired by Lori's card.  You have probably noticed that I can't seem to stop using the new In Colors, I just love them!  And the new ruffled ribbon makes it so easy to layer a circle (sigh).  I just love it all!

Six Sided Sampler Card

Another triple threat in the new Stampin' Up! lineup - the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set, the Honeycomb embossing folder, and the Hexagon punch!  I love this card by Lisa, I just changed the DSP to the Gingham Garden because I really wanted the cool edge to stand out.

Happy Birthday Card

 I finally had a chance to sit down and play with all my new goodies from the new Occasions mini catalog!  I needed to make some birthday cards so here is what I came up with using the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper, Ovals Framelits and the Honeycomb textured embossing folder.  I added a little butterfly with the new Bitty Butterfly punch.
