Heart Happiness Eclipse Card

I'm getting ready for Valentines Day and the Heart Happiness stamp set in the new Occasions Catalog is perfect for creating Eclipse cards!  To create an eclipse card, stamp any image or set of images on your background.  Then use the Large Letters die to cut out a word of your choice.  Choose a dark colored card base so that when you place the letters on mini dimensionals, you can offset the letters (shift them to the left or right) so that the darker card base shows through and create the "eclipse" look.

Painted Harvest Eclipse Card

For my first eclipse card, I used the Painted Harvest stamp set (surprise, surprise!)  I used a basic black background so the shadows would really pop!  I stamped the card first and then cut out the letters.  I offset the letters with dimensional to create the shadows. Have you tried making an eclipse card yet?
