Beautiful Day Butterfly Card

I've been having fun trying out the new Brusho pigment powders. They make beautiful backgrounds! I taped the edges of some watercolor paper with painters tape and then spread some water across the paper with an aquapainter.  I sprinkled some of the blue and yellow brusho and blended them together.  For fun I decided to use the butterfly from the Beautiful Day stamp set to let the background show through.  Stay tuned for more Brusho cards!

They flower from the Beautiful Day stamp set is perfect for coloring with the Stampin' Blends.  I colored one flower with Rich Razzleberry and the other flower with Bermuda Bay.  The B&W designs in the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper are perfect for accents and backgrounds.  I used the striped design for my cards.  And I had to add some shimmer ribbon!  You can earn a pack of three colors and sizes of shimmer ribbon for FREE when you place a $50 merchandise order!  Order online to get your FREE Sale-a-bration products!
