Birthday

I know it's a month later, but I thought I would post some of the pretty birthday cards I received.

This first one is by my friend, Debra. I love how she used the swirl from Baroque Motifs to stamp the background, how she cut out the flower from Ginormous Flowers and added the ice circle rhinestone brad in the middle, how she used the wild wasabi double-stitched ribbon for the stem, and how she trimmed the wild wasabi cardstock to make it look like grass.

She's always telling me she has a hard time coming up with ideas for cards, but I don't believe her because she always makes great cards!

The next card is from my friend Mary (rdm on scs). Her cards are always beautifully embellished. It's hard to tell from the picture, but she embossed the background with a cuttlebug I'm guessing. Then it looks like she used metallic glue (help me out here Mary) for the little dots on the scalloped circle.

This card was made by my upline, Dannie (danniegrvs on scs). She made a cute pocket card. I love how she used the baroque background paper with the Carte Postal set.

The next one I received from my friend Kathleen, (kab on scs). I like how she sponged the background for some texture and used glossy paper for the vase. And of course, I love the purple!

This last one is by my friend, Jessica (CuttiePuttie on scs). I saw the tutorial for this Acetate Card on Splitcoast. I love the colors and the snowflakes from my favorite snowflake set, The Snowflake Spot. I'll have to try making on of these! Thanks for the great and inspiring cards everyone!
