Tin Gift Box

My friend Leah came across these little tins from dunwoody booth packaging and asked me to figure out what to do with them. So I stuck some 3x3 cards in them and decorated the top with the penguin from Punch Pals and created a little tin gift box.

Holiday Ornament Party

These are some of the ornaments we will be making at my Holiday Stamp Party this year. First we will make some scallop punch ornaments.

Then we will make these fun "pumpkin" ornaments using strips of Wintergreen dsp.

Last we will stamp a snowflake to put inside these glass ornaments!

Oragami Box & Paper Bow

I just love making these origami boxes! They are easy to make and turn out so nice! I just learned how to make these great paper bows as well! I used Wintergreen designer series paper to create this box and paper bow. For the paper bow, I used 1/2 " strips of dsp instead of 1" strips to give the bow a different look. Now I just have to figure out what to put inside it and who to give it to!

Wild Rose Card

This is a card a made as a variation on another swap card that I made with Wild Rose and the coordinating Porcelain Prints paper. I love the color combination of wild wasabi and bayou blue.

Here is the swap card. I layered the wild wasabi with some bayou blue and punched the corners with the ticket punch for some added embellishment.

Flip Flop Card

I have been wanting to make a Swing/Flip Flop card ever since I saw the tutorial on splitcoast. I finally had my chance last week. I decided to use Priceless with night of navy and ballet blue to create this card.

Here is the inside of the card. I used Curvy Verses to stamp a sentiment. What a fun card to make! It was easier than I expected!

I love making these great notebooks by covering a composition book with fun designer series paper. For this notebook, I used Notations No. 2 dsp and the coordinating Little Reminders No. 2 Accents & Elements. I started by cutting 2 12x12 sheets of dsp into two 6x12 pieces. I used modge podge to adhere two of the same 6x12 sheets onto the front and back and fold one of the 6x12 sheets and adhered that to the binding.

I added some ribbon in between the cover and a piece of 7x9 card stock in a coordinating color (river rock). I added some tab dividers from Little Reminders Accents & Elements and it's ready to go!

Holiday Organizer

I made this Holiday Organizer as a Hostess Gift with the Wintergreen dsp. I started with a plain white folder that I got at the office supply store for 99 cents and folded into four parts. I created a gift list and a card list and stuck an envelope for receipts in one of the pockets.

I used some soft sky double-stitched ribbon, the jumbo pewter eyelets (love them!!) and the snow flake punch for some embellishments. Here is a great tutorial by JanTink with some more details on how to make these fun organizers.

Here is another organizer that I created with the Cutie Pie dsp, In the Spotlight and the Three for You Punch.

Here is the inside.

Scalloped Edges

Scalloped edges are all the rage right now and so I thought I would share this great tutorial by Beate on making scalloped edges with your corner rounder. Here is another one by Catherine about how to make scalloped circles with your slit punch. And for those of you who like visual aids, here is a video on how to create a scalloped circle!

Priceless Dry Embossing

I love dry embossing! It really give my creations dimension. I used the Priceless Classy Brass template and the Priceless stamp set with wild wasabi cardstock and the Cutie Pie dsp.

Star Punch Card

I saw this card on Kristina's blog here. I loved how she used the punches and dimensionals to create this effect. I don't have the Polka Dot background, so I used my Dotted background instead.

I also tried the Canvas background.

Thank you cards

I thought I saw this card on SplitCoast, but now I can't find it. I think it is super cute!

Edited to add: Thanks Lynn for letting me know it was your design! See her original here!

I like the soft sky and so saffron color combination. The original card was 6x6, but I decided to try translating it to an invitation size card. I used Double-Line Doodle and So Many Sayings. I didn't realize you can use the slot punch and punch out any of the sayings from those three blocks of stamps! In fact, some stampers have even trimmed all the sayings and mounted them on dominoes! Check it out here!

I also wanted to try this card out horizontally. Which do you like better?

Holiday Tags & More!

We made some great holiday tags at Connie's annual Holiday Tags Party last night. We used Punch Pals for the first tag, The Snowflake Spot for the middle tag, and Tags on Board for the last tag.

Here is a sample of a tag I made with Tags on Board from the Holiday mini catalog. I love how the snowflake punch coordinates with this stamp set! I punched the snowflake out of the shimmery gold cardstock and tied some gold cord around the yummy chocolate satin ribbon.

And here is the door prize! I decorated an Altoids tin with the snowman from Punch Pals and some soft sky double stitched ribbon and added some chocolate!

Christmas Tags

Perfect Presentation is such a great set for making tags and card candy! Here's a bunch that I made with each stamp from that set! I love the color combination of certainly celery and bravo burgundy for the holidays! As you can see, this set coordinates very well with a lot of SU's punches!

Star box

We made star boxes at our meeting a couple of months ago. It was easier than I thought it would be! Here are the directions. We used Brocade Background dsp and some chocolate chip taffeta ribbon.

Here is the box with the top off.

Pretty Paper

For the month of November, you can buy 3 designer series papers (dsp) and receive one free! Check it out! Here are some fun creations that I've made with dsp:

I love how all the dsp colors coordinate perfectly with Stampin' Up!s colors! One of my favorites is the Wintergreen designer series paper! It is so fun to use! I cased this card from Vera. I used Punch Pals and popped out the cute penguin with a dimensional.

Here is another candy holder that I created with the Wintergreen dsp and Punch Pals. I used the scallop punch for each side and some artichoke grosgrain to tie the holder together!
