Summer Watercolor Trio

I'm lookin' forward to Summer with this bright and vibrant card inspired by this card by Gretchen. I made my own design by repeatedly stamping one of the images on some regal rose cardstock. I'm so excited that some of my favorite In Colors from the past are returning so I added a Wild Wasabi layer and stamped the sentiment in Wild Wasabi as well!

Masculine Card

I was so excited to try out the new Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on a Masculine card that I decided to make Father's Day card. I ran my cardstock through the embossing folder first (the cardstock shrinks a little bit) and then through the Big Shot with the top note die.

I like how tone on tone stamping creates a nice masculine look. I added a sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set - that is still available to order along with all these other items from past mini catalogs:

I was inspired by this card by Tara to make this elegant card using the En Francais background stamp with the Watercolor Trio stamps. I'm so glad perfect plum is not retiring because it is such a pretty color.

Watercolor Trio Birthday

Don't you just love the watercolor look without having to watercolor? The new Watercolor Trio stamp set from the new Summer Mini catalog is designed to look like you watercolored when all you had to do was stamp! I was inspired by this card by Rainey for the layout. I used the regal rose and red rose markers to create the two-toned watercolor look of the flowers. I colored the stems with old olive and then used a strip of old olive grosgrain around the picture and added the sentiment with a scalloped oval layer.
