I love this card that my friend, Jennifer, made so much that I had to share it with you. I love the combination of dsp she used from Bali Breeze and how she stamped the butterfly right onto the dsp and then cut it out. And I love how she punched out two squares and then stamped the sentiment inside the card and added a really nice scalloped edge. It almost looks like curtains on a stage! Great job Jen!

Free Stamp Set!
I got the inspitation for this card from Jen Foley for this swap card I made. I used Time Well Spent, a level 3 hostess set that Stampin' Up! sent all its demonstrators for free! It seems like every year, Stampin' Up! gives us a free stamp set! Last year it was Polka Dots & Paisley. The year before it was Sincere Salutations. Yeah for SU!

Valentine Treat Pouch
Every month, my upline gives us something to stamp, a challenge project. Last month she gave us a paper pouch. I decided to use it to make a cute Valentine treat pouch. It was originally white, so I used my brayer and some regal rose ink to give the pouch my base color. Then I used my love wheel over the layer of regal rose. I used the heart from Time Well Spent (a level 3 hostess set) and the sentiment from For a Friend (a level 1 hostess set) and watercolored them both with real red.

Post it notes
This is one of the projects we made at our meeting last week. Super easy, simple and cute! We just put some Bali Breeze dsp on 4" chipboard coasters, added a post it note with a binder clip and inserted a cute little pen. These will make great gifts!
Edited to add: Here is a place to buy these chipboard coasters. We used modge podge to adhere the dsp to the chipboard coasters and to the binder clip.

Spotlighting Embracing Life
This is another make-n-take that I made for my New Catalog open house. Embrace Life is a perfect set for using the spotlighting technique. And I love the new Ginger Blossoms dsp!

A Beautiful Pocket Card & Box
I'm lovin' this new set, A Beautiful Thing, and its coordinating dsp, Bali Breeze. I never would have thought to put taken with teal and old olive together, but I think they look great together! I made this card for my New Catalog Open House. And I made a peek-a-boo box as the door prize.
My friend, Jennifer, told me a trick to get the rhinestone brads to lay flat against the paper.
Use your template from the tool kit to line up two holes on either side of the middle of the flower and punch with paper piercer.
Then insert the brad like so:
Great tip, thanks Jen!

Valentine's Day Bundle project
I was racking my brain, trying to come up with a cool candy box using the Happy Heart Day set from the Valentine's Day bundle when I saw this simple 2, 4, 6, 8 box by my upline Dannie and decided to adjust the height a little and go with this great box. I cut my cardstock to 5" (instead of 5 1/2") x 8 1/2" and scored at 2" lengthwise and 2, 4, 6, 8 widthwise. I used the love wheel and then put the box together and put some yummy chocolate inside!

Le Jardin Photo Wallet
We made these lovely photo wallets at our last meeting. I really love the color combination of river rock, so saffron, always artichoke and ballet blue. And I love how all the colors are pulled from the Le Jardin dsp, making it so easy to pick colors for a project!
We used French Flair to stamp the outside of the wallet and Carte Postale to stamp the embellishments.

Vellum Card Holder
This is a vellum card holder with coordinating cards that I made as a gift for my mother-in-law's birthday. She likes green and yellow, so I used mellow moss. I stamped fine lace on very vanilla cardstock and then wrapped some wide organdy ribbon around the card. I used the circle stamp from Think Happy Thoughts and the Monogram letter from Papertrey Ink to create the monogram.
I saw the vellum card holder on Lauren Meader's blog and modified it to fit larger cards. Here's a template of how I modified mine:

I started with an 8" x 11" peice of vellum and scored lengthwise at 1" from each side. Then I scored at 2", 3", 7 1/2", 8 1/2" widthwise. I cut on the score marks to the lengthwise score and then cut out the two pieces as marked.
I corner rounded the flap and then used craft ink to stamp my image. Make sure to wait for your ink to fully dry before putting the card holder together. I wrapped some organdy ribbon around the card holder to hold the flap down. Enjoy!
