Abstract Impressions Card & How to Color Ribbon!

The Abstract Impressions stamp set and coordinating Springtime Framelits are one of my new favorite bundles in the new catalog!  Use the new colors Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam to create this card.

Color the white organza ribbon with a sponge dauber and ink pad to create the Highland Heather ribbon - or any other color ribbon you want!  Just be sure to let it dry for 5-6 hours before attaching to your card or tying in a bow.  Use liquid adhesive to attach the bow - glue dots don't stick well to colored ribbon.

Use the Lillypad Lake stamp set and fraemlits to create beautiful scenery cards!  Add some dimension by creating a window using the Layering Oval Framelits. And don't you just love the new Balmy Blue color?

Sea of Textures Impossible Card

Want to make an impossible card with the Sea of Textures stamp set?  Start with a 4-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of card stock and scored it in half lengthwise at 2-1/8".  Then cut at 2-3/4" on one side to the score line and cut 1" from each edge on the other side.

Then flip one side over to create the look.  Add a 1" x 5-1/2" strip of card stock to stabilize the card and make sure to keep all elements within the card so it will fit inside an envelope.

Use sponge daubers to color the octopus with balmy blue, tranquil tide, and rich razzleberry.
