Vintage Vogue Easel Card & Shades of Spring Box in a Bag

This is my first attempt at making an easel card. It was easy and fun! I was inspired by this card by Julie and the colors from the Shades of Spring DSP in the Occasions mini catalog. Here is the tutorial to make this card. I used the Vintage Vogue stamp set and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit for all the butterflies.

I also made this coordinating box in a bag with the Shades of Spring DSP. It's also super easy and fun to make. Here is the tutorial.

I have also created a video tutorial to show you how to make the easel card!

Fancy Favor Box

This was one of the projects I made for a workshop this month. We used the fancy favor die and punched out the center of the front with the curly label punch and placed a window sheet behind it. We used the Vintage Vogue stamp set to stamp around the box and added some butterflies cut out with the beautiful wings. Now it's ready to fill with yummy treats!

Fancy Favors

These are some hostess gifts that I made for my hostesses this month filled with yummy chocolate using the Fancy Favor Sizzix die. I punched the curly label on one side and added a window sheet behind to hold the candy in. I added a sentiment from With all My Heart and tied it up with some real red grosgrain ribbon.

Sending Love Matchbox

I made this little matchbox as a gift for a great customer. It was fun to make! I used Stampin' Up!'s exclusive Matchbox die to create the matchbox. I used the hearts a plenty wheel on the cover and wrapped some sending love dsp around the box and the chocolate nuggets inside. I added a scalloped heart of hearts to the top along with a sentiment from With all My Heart.

Heart Box

I hope everyone had a very Happy Valentine's day yesterday! Even though Valentines was yesterday, I thought I would share this fantastic Valentine's project with you. It's a Heart box made with Stampin' Up!'s new chipboard heart book. I covered two hearts with Chocolate Chip DSP and then made 2 1-1/2 wide strips of pretty in pink to create the sides. One is 11" long and then other is 12".

I scored both strips at 1/2" and then cut every 1/2" or so so that I could create the bends in the top of the heart. I created a tab at the ends of the 12" strip to join the two strips together. I used sticky strip to adhere everything to the heart.

Then I cut out a heart to place inside to cover up the tabs. To decorate the top, I punched out some flowers and added some buttons, felt flowers and an epoxy brad for the centers. I used the large oval punch to create the leaves and tied some ribbon to connect the hearts together.

Valentine's Flower Heart Sweet Treat Card

The new Heart Treat Cups are sweet! I used the coordinating Sweetheart stamp set to create this Heart Flower card. I used the circle hole punches to create a back door to get the candy out from the inside of the card. I punched out a heart and used dotto repositionable tape to temporarily hold the candy in the cup until it is eaten all up! Have a very Happy Valentine's Day!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Sweetheart Stamp sets
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Paper: Old Olive, Regal Rose, Real Red
Accessories: Full heart punch, circle punches, scallop circle sizzix die

Oval Purse Card

I saw these cute little purse tags that Becky (Inking Idaho) made and decided to create one on a card. I folded some Sending Love DSP in half and placed it in the wide oval punch keeping the top fold from being punched. Then I added a handle using the scallop oval punch and large oval punch. I used the scrap piece of large oval punch for the flap and added a flower and a pink rhinestone brad. I added some new satin pretty in pink ribbon to finish the card.

Valentine's Bird Purse Tote

Isn't this little purse cute? I saw this idea on Becky Robert's site, Inking Idaho, and made a little box between the ovals to put some treats in.

I started by cutting out two ovals with the Scallop Oval Sizzix die. I trimmed the bottoms by lining up the edge at 2" on my trimmer. I also cut one chocolate chip oval and cut it in half for the handles.

I created a little box with 3" x 6-1/2" piece of chocolate chip cardstock scored 1" lengthwise and at 2", 3", 5" & 6". I added a scallop circle and a cute little Sending Love Bird to the front.

This is another fun way to send some love on Valentine's Day!

Scallop Square Valentine Treat holder

I saw this cute treat holder by Monika and decided to make some for my Valentine Day Stamp Party. They are super simple and quick to make! I just cut out a scallop square using Stampin' Up!'s clear scallop square die and my Big Shot and scored in between the third and fourth scallop and in between the sixth and seventh scallop on both sides. Then I scored diagonally from corner to corner on both sides but I skipped the middle square.

I punched a hole in each corner and then tied opposites sides together with the ribbon and stamped the sentiment with the Sweetheart stamp set on a tag made with the large oval punch and the scallop oval punch. I decorated the sides of the treat holder with hearts from I {Heart} Hearts and the Heart punch and Sending Love DSP.

For every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set purchased during February, Stampin' Up will donate $2 to American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund.

Vintage Vogue Friends

I saw this beautiful card by Ilina and knew I had to make one for myself! I love the new scallop trim border punch and coordinating corner punch. They work together so well to create beautiful edges and borders! I used the Very Vintage Jumbo wheel to roll a border behind the cardstock strip and wrapped some satin old olive ribbon around it.

You can receive the scallop trim edge punch for free when you order $50 in great Stampin' Up! products! Click here to order now!
