Beautiful Butterfly Bitty Box

I made some butterfly bitty boxes for some of the Young Women I teach in church. They were fun to make. I used rolled some swirls on the pixie pink and added a gable green and pixie pink butterfly to the top. I added three dots of crystal effects with some glitter mixed in to the top butterfly.

Of course I had to put some chocolate inside. I found some that fit perfectly!

Surprise Pop-Up Card

This was such a fun card to make! I love cards that have little surprises in them! The directions for this card can be found here. I used soft suede, so saffron, mellow moss, and brocade blue with the Friends 24-7 stamp set. Here is what it looks like when you pull the tag.

Here is my video tutorial of how to create a Surprise Pop-Up Card:

Petal Card Textured Box

Isn't this a pretty box? We made it at a demonstrator meeting a couple of months ago. I just love how we ran the petal card through the Big Shot with the texture plate! The box is simply a 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of card stock scored at 1-1/2" from each side. We used some flowers from the Flower Daisies #2 Sizzix die and a button for the middle and the little leaves sizzlit die. We tied some ribbon about the top of the box to hold the petals together. I hope you try making one!

Fabulous Purse Bag

I loved making this paper bag purse at one our demonstrator meetings. It's easy and fun to make. I started with a paper bag cut down to 4" tall and two sheets of rich razzleberry cut to 5-1/2 x 4-1/2 and 5-1/2 x 6-1/4 scored at 4-1/4. I layered them with the Cottage Wall DSP. Then I used the slot punch to punch holes for the handles. I inserted the ribbon and added adhesive underneath the pieces to hold the ribbon to the cardstock.

I attached the paper bag to the front piece of cardstock and then folded the bottom of the paper bag down on the other side (so that I didn't attach the bottom of the bag to my back piece of cardstock). I used sticky strip on the bag and lined up the cardstock pieces front to back. I used a velcro dot to secure the flap. I added some flowers with the Flower Daisies #2 Sizzix die and the "Fabulous Friend" stamp from the Oval Stamp set.

Cottage Bird Thank You Card

I used the new Finial Press Textured Impressions Embossing folder to create the background for this card. I love to run my fingers over the texture after I run it through my Big Shot! I ran some Cottage Wall DSP and some rich razzleberry through the Big Shot with the Bird w/Leaves and Flower die to create the bird and its shadow. I added some rich razzleberry to the flower and adhered them to a Scallop Circle. I added "Thanks" from the beautiful Kind & Caring Thoughts level 3 Hostess stamp set on a piece from the Matchbox die and a rich razzleberry modern label.

Recipe:
Stamps: Kind & Caring Thoughts
Paper: Cottage Wall DSP, Rich Razzleberry, Orchard Opulence, Old Olive
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Sizzix dies: Matchbox, Scallop Circle, Bird w/Leaves and Flower
Accessories: Modern Label Punch, Rich Razzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon, Finial Press Textured Impressions Embossing folder
