Debossed Manhattan Flower Card

I made this card at our last demonstrator meeting. This is another fun technique you can do with Stampin' Up!'s Textured Impressions Embossing Folders - debossing! After running your cardstock through your Big Shot in a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, simply turn the cardstock over to the back side, use a brayer to add color and you will get beautiful results! For this card I used the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder and some Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry on some shimmery white cardstock. I trimmed the edges of the flowers, added "Thanks" layered with the oval punch and scallop oval punch, and added some polka-dot melon mambo ribbon.

Friend Card

Here's another card with the Cottage Wall DSP color combo! I ran some old olive through the Big Shot with the new exclusive Stampin' Up! Perfect Details Textruz Plate Die, added a strip of Orchard Wall dsp and some rich razzleberry ribbon, then stamped the great friend sentiment and layered it with some rich razzleberry.

Clearly Simple

I'm continuing the orchid opulence, rich razzleberry, old olive color scheme with some printed window sheets today. I simply punched out different size circles and placed them underneath the dandelions, then scalloped the bottom edge and placed some old olive behind the window sheet. I added "thanks" from a sheet of cardstock run through my Big Shot with the new exclusively Stampin' Up! "Many Thanks" sizzlet. Another simple card.

Orchid Elegant Bouquet

I love the new Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder! I love placing the cardstock in the embossing folder and then feeling the beautiful impression it leaves on the cardstock! And I love the orchid opulence, rich razzleberry, old olive color combination from the Cottage Wall DSP. I can't get enough of it! I didn't want to take away from any of the texture, so I simply stamped the sentiment from the Great Friend stamp set, layered it with some rich razzleberry and added an old olive felt flower with a brad. Simple, but pretty!

Poppin' Pastels Medallion

This was definitely a WOW card for me when I saw it in the new catalog. I had to study it for a little while to figure out how the color was added. When I saw some smudges of color all around the edges I immediately knew it was the Poppin' Pastels technique!

I started by stamping the medallion in old olive on old olive cardstock. Then I stamped the medallion in versamark on some Natural Ivory cardstock and used a sponge dauber to swirl on some creamy caramel in the center and then some old olive around the rest of the medallion.

I stamped the medallion in versamark again on another piece of natural ivory cardstock and swirled some old olive on to create the center with a build a brad.

It's so cool to see the image magically appear, so I had to show it to you in my latest tutorial below!

Butterfly Fancy Favor Box

We made this Fancy Favor Box at my New Catalog Open House Last Week. We started with pretty in pink cardstock already cut and scored by the new exclusive Stampin' Up! Fancy Favor Sizzix Die and wheeled the Kindness wheel in Pretty in Pink on it. We punched a circle with the 1 3/4" circle punch and added a window sheet to the back. We stamped the sentiment from Simply Said stamp set and layered with a real red scallop oval.

Then we used the stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the flowers on the butterfly and then punched it out with the New Butterfly Punch! We punched a slot with the slot punch for the new Real Red Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon and tied some Pretty in Pink Taffeta ribbon around it.

Butterfly Box Tote

When my friend told me about this cute little box that she had heard of using the Sizzix Box #2 die to create, I knew I had to try it . It's super easy to make. I just ran two sheets of orchard opulence through my Big Shot with the Box #2 die, cut of the top side flaps and adhered them together back-to-back. I used the large oval punch to create the handle and some of the new Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper on the box. I added the butterfly from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and easily punched it out with the new butterfly punch. It tied a little piece of the rich razzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon to the top and it's ready to go!

We used the Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set with the coordinating Razzleberry DSP and In Colors - Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Crushed Curry. Circle Circus Scallop Envelope Box

Here is the box that I made with the Scallop Envelope die! It's super easy to make! I started with two scallop envelopes and attached them to a strip of 2 3/4" x 12" kraft cardstock scored at 2 1/4", 5 1/2", 7 3/4" and 11". I corner rounded the edges of the flap and stamped the Circle Circus stamps all around the box before finally adhering it together. I created the top by wrapping a piece of bashful blue striped ribbon around the top and layering the scallop circle stamp in different colors and punching them out with different size circle punches.

I love how the scallop flaps look when you open the box. Now it's ready to fill with candy, chocolate, jewelry or any other great gift!

Circle Circus Topiary

Here is one of the cards we made last night at my New Catalog Stamp Party! I loved the topiary on this card, so I decided to create one of my own. I used the new soft suede in color and some always artichoke for the circles. I punched out a 1 1/4" square punch of textured soft suede cardstock and marked 1/8" inch from each side of the bottom and trimmed from the mark to the top corner and then scored 1/8" across the top and folded it over to create the pot.

I ran some kraft cardstock thorough the big shot with the large dots texture plate and wrapped some of the new polka dot soft suede grosgrain ribbon around it. I stamped a sentiment from the new Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set and punched it out with the small oval punch and used some twine to tie it onto the ribbon. I added a thin strip of 1/4" x 4 behind the circles for the topiary and then used dimensionals on each of the circles.

Tomorrow I'll show you the cute box I made with the scallop envelop die and Circle Circus!

Circle Circus Card #2

Here is my next Circle Circus card that I found here. I layered the scallop circle by stamping it in chocolate chip, old olive, regal rose, and rose red and then punching each one out with a different size circle and placing dimensionals in between each layer. I used the polka dot background on the regal rose and wrapped some regal rose ribbon around the layer!

Tomorrow I will share the Circle Circus Topiary card that we are making tonight at my New Catalog Open House, so stay tuned!

If you'd like to place an order under $70, and want to save on shipping, you can always email me your order and I will include it with my next order or workshop. Note: This works best if you live in the San Jose area because the order will be shipped to me and you will need to come pick it up.
