More Criss Cross Cards

I have been having so much fun making these criss cross cards! The designer series paper is perfect for making these! Here are the directions. For this one I used the Cutie Pie paper.

I used Wintergreen designer series paper for this criss cross card. I love the colors! I used Punch Pals to stamp the circle and some soft sky double-stitched ribbon to tie around the card.

Pink!

My Mom's favorite color is pink. Growing up, we had pink leather couches, pink sheets, pink drapes, pink towels, some pink walls, and a pink quilt hanging on our family room wall. Needless to say, when I went to college with all my pink things, I decided I didn't like pink. To put it another way, my Mom "pinked me out." Since then I have stayed away from pink.

But lately pink has made a little bit of a comeback with me. It's not just because I recently had a baby girl, I painted her room a certainly celery and dress her in almost amethyst and lavender lace, but I actually think pink is a nice color (am I actually admitting this?) And especially for this month, I actually made a pink card!

I was very inspired by Lauraly's beautiful card. I just used the swirly stamp from Priceless because I didn't have the same patterned paper that she used in her card. I used In the Spotlight for the flowers, embossed "cherish" from Warm Words in white, and scalloped the circle with the small corner rounder punch. I actually bought the pink taffeta ribbon to finish off the card! And guess who this card is for? My Mom. Love you Mom!

Punch Pals 3x3 Card

This cute 3x3 card was the make-n-take for the party I had last week. We used Punch Pals and the scallop punch, 1 1/4" circle punch and 3/4" circle punch. We used soft sky cardstock and designer series paper and bayou blue cardstock and double-stitched ribbon.

Halloween Candy Holder

Here is a quick, fun and easy to make Halloween candy holder! Start with any designer series paper (Creepy Crawly is used for this one) and cut into 4 - 6x6 pieces. Score at 2" and 4" both ways so that it looks like a tic-tac-toe board. Then score each corner box diagonally. Punch holes in each corner and fold the corners towards the middle. Tie some ribbon through the holes and add some fun images on each side (this one has Booglie Eyes) and then it's ready for some candy.

Punch Pals Diorama

I am having so much with Punch Pals! I created this fun diorama with the 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches. This is a great set to use with all the punches!

To create this diorama, I started with a piece of 8 1/2" x 4 soft sky cardstock and scored it at 2" from each edge. I pushed the 1 3/8" circle punch all the way into the paper and held it against the scored edge and punched on each side and then in the middle. Then I did the same on the other side to create the first opening.

I used an 8 1/2" x 4" piece of whisper white cardstock for the background and a 6 1/2" x 4" piece of whisper white for the middle. I did the same thing with the 1 1/4" circle punch that I did with the piece of soft sky to create the second opening.

I added the snowman and presents on the front and the cute penguin in the back. I used the word window punch for the "Happy Holidays."

Criss Cross Card

These criss cross cards are so fun and easy to make! I used the Hostess set Party Punch and the Creative License Simply Scrappin' Kit. The directions can be found here. I cased this card from rososkimom on splitcoast.

Scalloped Flowers Card

I love this color combination of rose red, river rock, soft sky and chocolate chip. I saw this card on splitcoast and changed the stamps on the flowers a bit, but kept the nice layout and cool color combo! I used In the Spotlight and the scallop and circle punches to create the flowers!

Monogramed card box

I made this cute card box as a gift for a friend. It is pictured on the front of Stampin' Up!'s 2006-2007 idea book & catalog. She mentioned that she really liked it, so I decided to make one for her as a gift! Can you guess what her name starts with? I covered the "a" from the chipboard alphabet with some coordinating paper and used the Wild Rose set to create 3 cards.

Here are the three cards I put in the little box with matching envelopes. I hope she likes them!

Holiday Glitz Card

I made this card with The Snowflake Spot, one of the sets in the Holiday Glitz special. I used similar materials that are in the Holiday Glitz kit: wild wasabi and real red cardstock and soft sky designer series paper. Very quick and easy to put together!

Simply Sent Card

This is one of the cards from the Sending Happy Thoughts Simply Sent Kit. We made them at my World Card Making Day Event. I love the two shaded flower stamp and putting glitter on the lighter inner part of the flower!

Autumn Apparations

I saw a card by Sharon (notimetostamp) on splitcoast and recreated it using really rust, old olive and basic black. I made a little treat box to go with the card as well! This is definitely my favorite Halloween set!

I really like that all the sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog are die cut! It is so easy to pop the rubber out and stick it on the wood!

Cutie Pie Photo Wallet

I saw this photo wallet on splitcoast stampers and had to recreate it! I had Priceless on my wish list ever since the catalog came out in July, and this project tipped me over the edge! I love this set! I got the matching brass template as well and I can't wait to try it out!

Here is the inside where I'm going to put some cute pictures. It was simple to put together and would make a great brag book as well!

Artfully Asian

The Artfully Asian set is so beautiful! I found a beautiful card by misselle on splitcoaststampers that I modified a bit.

I also found this card by blueonblue on splitcoast and had to recreate it. I love the bravo burgundy, mellow moss color combination.

Happy Birthday Cards

Here is a birthday card that I made with Double-Line Doodles. I got this set when I attended a Stampin' Up! Regional event in Reno last year. I didn't care for it much at first, but of course as most stamp sets do, it really grew on me and I love it now! I used the new In Colors of soft sky, river rock, and groovy guava.

Here is the same card with the colors all switched up. I love the matching In Color double-stitched ribbon! It goes so well with all the In Color colors!

Halloween Ornament

Here is another one of Dannie's creations. She made this Halloween ornament with the Creepy Crawly designer series paper by taking 8 strips of 4 3/4" x 1" inch paper and using the crop-a-dile to punch holes in the top and bottom. Next she threaded her black grosgrain ribbon through a 5 petal punched piece of cardstock and through both holes and attached a cute scalloped pumpkin pendant!

Halloween Cup

My upline Dannie made this cup! I love the Creepy Crawly Halloween paper that she used! But I love what was inside even better...chocolate!

Autumn Card

My friend made this card with the Thoroughly Thankful set. She colored in all the images with markers and stamped on twill tape, crimped some always artichoke and stamped the Weathered background stamp on pumpkin pie.

Halloween is Coming!

I'm getting ready for Halloween! I made this fun card with Autumn Apparations and the Autumn Leaves wheel shown in the Holiday Mini Catalog! I really like the color combination of old olive, really rust and more mustard.
